Support the delivery of a portfolio of projects, including refurbishments and new builds across the residential, commercial, high-end hospitality, and education sectors for a project management consultancy in Sydney.

Working directly with an experienced industry leader, you get the mentorship and insight to grow fast.
You will have the autonomy to run smaller projects, giving you the freedom to follow your instincts with support provided when you need.

Those with 2-3 years of project management experience or those working for a tier one or tier 2 contractor in CA or Project Coordinator role, looking for work-life balance would be looked upon favourably.

They have offices in the major states and work on projects across a range of sectors, including commercial refurbishment, education, aged care, high-end hospitality, and residential projects ranging in value from $5 million to $100 million.

Duties Include:
  • Daily management of key stakeholders to develop and execute a project design, manage a project budget, and deliver a project on program
  • Engaging with consultants and contractors
  • Support management of tenders, contracts, letters of interest, purchase orders, progress reports, cost reports, progress claims, variations, DA applications, construction and occupation certificates, and invoices.
The role will support two Senior PMs, managing projects through the planning, design, and delivery phases.

Your background
  • 2-3 years of experience in Client Side Project Management, although those from Contracts Administrator/ Project Coordinator, Head contractor backgrounds would be desirable
  • Ideally, you will have construction management, architecture, civil engineering, or another property-related degree.
This consultancy provides training, and support, as well as a target-driven promotion strategy. Also, the opportunity to work across some large innovative projects across all stages of the lifecycle partnering with private institutional property owners, private development groups, and not-for-profit agencies.
